Default settings (ready preset)

• Page: A4
• Layout: Fit (no cropping, aspect ratio preserved)
• Margin: 10mm
• Quality: Balanced

Output logic

• Each image you upload will be a separate page in the PDF.
• Due to “Fit”, no content is cut off:
  • If the photo is vertical, there may be top-bottom space on the page.
  • If the photo is horizontal, there may be left-right space on the page.
• This behavior is intentional: in document work, the risk of “did it crop?” is unacceptable.

• If you upload 4 images: 1 page / 2×2 grid.
• If you upload 5–8 images: 2 pages (each page 2×2).
• With more images, the number of pages increases; the layout does not change.

Expected behaviors (eliminates confusion)

In Document PDF:

• No cropping. Content is not cut off.

In Collage PDF:

• The grid is fixed: 2×2.
• The arrangement of images is based on order:

  • 2. image top right
  • 3. image bottom left

What happens if I upload more than 4 images in Collage PDF?

Every 4 images will move to a new page.

Will the quality of the images decrease?

The goal of “balanced quality” is to maintain readability without bloating the file. Users aiming for professional print quality are looking for the “high quality PDF” preset, not this tool.

Does this tool merge PDFs?

No. This tool creates PDFs from images. PDF merging is a separate tool.
